Meadows Homes – La vida lujosa, al alcanze de su presupuesto.

David B. Carrazco, Sr. nació y se crió en Nayarit México. Llegó solo a los Estados Unidos a los 18 años, dejando atrás a sus padres en busca de un futuro mejor.

Algunos de sus primeros trabajos incluyeron la limpieza de macizos de flores para casas grandes en áreas residenciales.
Allí conoció a un individuo involucrado en la construcción de viviendas, que es lo que él llama su “amuleto de la buena suerte”: esta persona lo ayudó a conseguir su primer cheque.

David siempre supo que quería triunfar y su pasión por construir casas despertó su interés en abrir su propio negocio. Continuó trabajando enmarcando bajo alguien más durante varios años, pero su objetivo siempre fue algun dia convertirse en su propio jefe.

En el 2005, una vez que aprendió los aspectos de la estructura, decidió abrir su primer negocio. Un año más tarde, pudo construir su propia casa, fue ahi que nació la idea de Meadows Homes.

“Siempre me ha gustado diseñar casas, tengo el don de ser creativo y tener diferentes ideas. Siempre me gusta que tengan mi propio toque “, dijo Carrazco Sr.

El nombre de Meadow´s Homes creció en él y él se quedó con él diciendo que le da una imagen mental de vegetación y casas lujosas.

En Marzo de 2009, sin estudios superiores ni más certificaciones, logró su objetivo de abrir oficialmente las puertas de Meadows Homes en Tyler. Diez años más tarde, su negocio ahora tiene mucho éxito al haber construido más de 200 casas en todo el este de Texas. Las áreas donde ha construido incluyen Tyler, Lindale, Mineola, Canton, Marshall, Bullard, Old Jacksonville, Quitman, Longview y Palestine.

Las casas están diseñadas completamente por David, desde los planos hasta los toques finales.

“Primero nos sentamos y hablamos con el cliente para averiguar lo que tienen en mente. Para hacer eso no necesitas dinero. Solo queremos ver cuál es el hogar de sus sueños para armar un plan. Podemos construir cualquier casa, desde 1,000 pies cuadrados hasta el tamaño que le gustaría al cliente “.

David cree que hablar con honestidad y ser confiable es la clave principal para un negocio exitoso. Esto es algo que siempre ha aconsejado a sus tres hijos, David Vladimir, David Eli y Andrew.

“Siempre he tratado de mostrarles el negocio, para ser honestos y responsables. Quiero que ellos estudien lo que quieran, pero si he ayudado a otros a comenzar y han tenido éxito, puedo ayudar a mis hijos, mostrarles el negocio y ellos pueden decidir de allí “.

La pasión de David por la industria de la vivienda llevó a sus hijos a seguir su camino. David Eli ahora trabaja como REALTOR junto a su padre. Como equipo, ayudan a que todo el proceso de compra de la vivienda sea lo más conveniente para sus clientes.

La familia ahora posee dos subdivisiones y planea continuar creciendo en los próximos meses.

Meadows Homes – Luxury living, is finally affordable

David B. Carrazco, Sr. was born and raised in Nayarit Mexico. He came to the United States alone at age 18 leaving behind his parents in search of a better future.

In Tyler, David began picking up jobs at “El Zarape” – a popular location on Beckham Avenue where workers stand with hope to be picked up for daily jobs.

Some of his first jobs included cleaning flowerbeds for large homes in residential areas.
There he met an individual involved in the construction of homes who is what he calls his “good luck charm” – this person helped him collect his very first check.

David always knew he wanted to be successful and his passion for home building sparked his interest in opening up his own business. He continued to work in framing under someone else for several years but his goal was to one day be his own boss.

In 2005, once he learned the in’s and out’s of framing he decided to open up his first business. A year later he was able to build his own home – it was when that the idea of Meadow’s Homes was born.

“I have always liked designing homes, I have the gift of being creative and coming up with different ideas. I always like for them to have my own touch,” said Carrazco Sr.

The name Meadow’s Homes grew on him and he stuck with it claiming it gives him a mental picture of greenery and luxurious homes.

In March of 2009, with no higher education or further certifications, he accomplished his goal of officially opening the doors of Meadow’s homes in Tyler. Ten years later his business is now very successful having built more than 200 homes all over East Texas. Areas, where he has built, include Canton, Marshall, Bullard, Old Jacksonville, Quitman, and Palestine.

The homes are designed completely by David from floor plans to finishing touches.

“First we sit and talk with the client to find out what they have in mind. To do that you don’t need any money. We just want to see what their dream home is to put it together as a plan. We can build anything – from 1,000 square feet to however big the client would like.”

David believes that speaking with honesty and being trustworthy is the main key to a successful business. This is something he has always adviced his three children, David Vladimir, David Eli, and Andrew.

“I’ve always tried to show them the business, to be honest, and responsible. I want them to study whatever they want but if I’ve helped others to get started and they have been successful I can help my kids, show them the business and they can decide from there.”

David’s passion for the housing industry led his children to follow his path. David Eli now works as a REALTOR alongside his father. As a team, they help make the whole home buying process the most convenient for their clients.

The family now owns two subdivisions and plans to continue growing within the next couple of months.
