En Noviembre de 2017, Maritza Bedolla se unió a Erika en la aventura de bienes raíces cuando apenas se empezaba a hablar de Maya Properties.

Maritza se graduó de la escuela secundaria John Tyler en 2008 y se inscribió en Tyler Junior College poco después.

En 2009 conoció a su esposo, Ulysis Bedolla, con quien se casó cinco años después.

Aunque tenía el deseo de enseñar, cambió su especialidad y recibió su título de Asociada en Negocios en mayo de 2015.

Maritza mantuvo su trabajo en una zapatería durante bastante tiempo por una razón en particular.

“Me quedé en Payless porque no sabía cómo llenar un currículum vitae para solicitar un trabajo de” niña grande “”, dijo Maritza riendo.

Finalmente decidió darle una oportunidad y se postuló para trabajar en la Academia. Ese mismo día fue a Beacon Federal Credit Union, donde era conocida como cliente habitual y allí el gerente le ofreció un puesto en el lugar.

“Ella dijo: ‘Si quieres el trabajo es tuyo’, incluso se ofreció a ayudarme con mi currículum”, recordó Maritza.

Fue durante su estancia en Beacon que tomó la decisión de cambiar su carrera, pero un pequeño pajarito insistió en que también se uniera a bienes raíces. Erika y Maritza habían crecido con el deseo de trabajar juntas algún día.

“Mi madre nos educó para trabajar muy duro, así que esa ha sido nuestra motivación”, dijo Maritza.

En julio de 2017, Maritza completó todos los cursos necesarios y se convirtió en agente de bienes raíces mientras trabajaba en el banco. Su decisión de permanecer en el banco por un tiempo llegó cuando descubrió que iba a ser madre por primera vez.

Ella dio a luz a Nico en octubre y comenzó a trabajar con su hermana y Russell en Patterson Home Group un mes después.

“Tenía mis dudas, pero Erika me convenció, además sabía que los bienes raíces tenían más que ofrecer que el banco”, dijo Maritza.

Su primer cierre fue en abril de 2018 a una familia de acogida de seis miembros. “Encontrarles un hogar y ser el único para ayudarlos fue increíble”.

Maritza es una madre trabajadora que lleva a Nico a trabajar con ella todos los días y en las presentaciones en casa cuando es posible.

“Él va poder vender una casa una vez que hable”, se rió Maritza.

In November 2017, Maritza Bedolla joined Erika on the real estate adventure when Maya Properties was only in the talks.

Maritza graduated from from John Tyler High School in 2008 and enrolled in Tyler Junior College shortly after.

In 2009 she met her husband,Ulysis Bedolla, while working at Payless. They married five years later.

Although she had the desire to teach she switched her major and received her Associates degree in Business in May 2015.

Maritza kept her job at a shoe store for quite some time for a particular reason.

“I stayed at Payless because I did not know how to fill out a resume to apply for a ‘big girl’ job,” Maritza said laughing.

She finally decided to give it a shot and she applied to work at Academy. That same day she went to Beacon Federal Credit Union where she was known as a regular customer and there the manager offered her a position on the spot.

“She said ‘If you want the job it’s yours’, she even offered to help me with my resume,” Maritza recalled.

After 8 years of her career in banking she made the decision to change her major but a little birdie insisted she also join real estate. Erika and Maritza had grown up with the desire to work together one day.

“My mom raised us to work really hard so that’s been our motivation,” Maritza said.

In July 2017 Maritza completed all the necessary courses and became a real estate agent while working at the bank. Her decision to stay at the bank for some time came when she found out she was going to become a mother for the first time.

She gave birth to Nico in October and began working with her sister and Russell at Patterson Home Group a month later.

“I was hesitant but Erika talked me into it, plus I knew real estate had more to offer than the bank,” Maritza said.

Her first closing was in April 2018 to a foster family of six. “To find them a home and being the one to help them was amazing.”

Maritza is a working mom who takes Nico to work with her everyday and to home showings when possible.

“He’s gonna be able to sell a house once he speaks,” Maritza laughed.
